What Does Rob Wealth Mean, and Why Is It Called That?
Rob Wealth is one of the Ten Gods in BaZi, and it stands for competition, moving first and shared resources. It is the stem with the same element as your Day Master but the opposite yin-yang polarity. Your Day Master is the stem of the day you were born, and BaZi uses it to stand for you.
For example, if you are Jia, which is yang wood, then Yi, which is yin wood, is your Rob Wealth.
The element you control is called Wealth. This star shares your element, so it controls that too. It is like one more person reaching for the same money, which is where the name comes from.
It differs from Friend (Bi Jian) only in polarity. Friend has the same polarity as you, and this one has the opposite.
Finding your own takes two steps:

What Is the Yang Blade? Yin Stems Have One Too

For eight of the ten, the main qi of that branch is Rob Wealth. Wu and Ji are the exceptions, since theirs is Direct Seal.
